Qualities of Ethiopian sesame
Blue Nile Trading Company deals exclusively with the high quality Humera sesame seed variety. It has great characteristics which include nutty sweet flavor, large size, great aroma and taste. The oil produced is odorless and the roasted sesame seed has the ability to resist rancidity because of the antioxidant property achieved after roasting. Apart from oil production, the clear white sesame may be used in the confectionery, biscuit and bakery industry.
Blue Nile Trading Company trades in the highest quality Whitish Humera Type of Sesame seeds. This is the variety with a white or ashen colored seed coat and is the one used for grading especially in the international market. It is one of the highest qualities with very high demand in the market. The oil content is between 54% and 56%.
Qualities of Ethiopian Coffee
Blue Nile Trading Company is selective in choice to ensure supply of highest quality coffee both to the locals and international community at large. Apart from the common arabica coffee, our preference is the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Coffee which is washed, or wet process, coffee that has a truly exotic flavor with pleasant acidity. The flavor is sweet with nice aroma; they are spicy and fragrant with high rating in the international market. The aroma is coupled with cinnamon and strawberry undertones. The Yirgacheffe coffee are high toned, floral and citrusy. It is important to note that Yirgacheffe consistently rates among the best tasting coffee.
